Wychavon is a rural community situated in the South Midlands. We aim to give our residents as much choice as possible about how they access information and services. We have 'walk in' Community Contact Centres located in our 3 main towns, through which residents can access all our services face to face. We also have telephone service centre teams in each of our main front line services as well as online service available via our web site For people who cannot easily access these channels DigiTV is the ideal solution as most households have, or will have, digital TV. The 'press the red button' concept to get advice and information, request for a service or even place a bid for social housing in the comfort of your own home is a clear advantage. The Council is making the best use of such technology to benefit the customer and help us provide a continuing improved service.
