One satisfied customer in Peterborough is totally converted to DigiTV's GP Appointments and Repeat Prescriptions service just one week after having digital TV installed - even though he had been using the service without any problems over the internet until then.

Kevin, 42, who works in a printing company in Peterborough, found GP Service easily by clicking through to interactive and is very enthusiastic about how much more convenient it is to arrange prescriptions and appointments while watching TV than having to decamp to the computer.

"It's no trouble at all. I don't have to stop doing what I'm doing, I can get my meds sorted and book a time to see the doctor from the comfort of the sofa, which I really appreciate. It's much more pleasurable and doesn't feel like a chore at all. I'm sure most of my colleagues at work would love the service too if they knew about it, and of course it would be perfect for my dad who doesn't have an internet connection and has to spend lots of time on the phone and in the surgery at the moment," said Kevin.
