Plymouth promoted their digital TV service using a lot of community groups and local content, to great effect.
They placed posters in doctors surgeries, community centres, leisure centres, libraries etc
Their posters, like the one attached, saw a 'useful person' popping out of the TV to promte the different services the DiTV offered, here the customer care person who could answer any issue. Later versions saw plumbers, builders and street cleaners coming out of the TV on the poster. The poster is accessible, understandable and clear tot he public as to what is on offer. And offers the pathway, which is often hard to remember, so that people understand how and where to find the service.
This poster is available for amends and reuse by any Local Authority.
