Looking Local has partnered with StartHere to offer all local authorities and related agencies the ability to link into the StartHere service which details a wide range of national and local organisations that can help when a citizen has a problem. It gives core information about issues such as health, caring, families, housing, education, employment, benefits, wellbeing and welfare rights, and signposts to hundreds of national and local organisations, mostly providing free services.
Jobcentre Plus is part of the Department of Work and Pensions, supporting people of working age from welfare into work and helping employers to fill their vacancies. NHS Choices is a comprehensive information service that helps to put you in control of your healthcare.The service is intended to help you make choices about your health, inform on the practical aspects of finding and using NHS services in England when you need them. Looking Local is working with NHS Choices to widen access to this vital information in particular local listings of healthcare providers.
Looking Local partners with EMIS to deliver GP appointments and repeat prescriptions. EMIS is the UK's leading IT supplier in primary healthcare, hosting over 39 million electronic patient records (EPRs) within its systems. Around 55 per cent of doctors in the UK currently use EMIS software each day.
Looking Local has integrated with Patient Opinion to offer their award-winning service to homes across the digital divide via TV as well as mobile phones.
Transport Direct offers comprehensive, easy-to-use travel information to help plan journeys effectively and efficiently. Working with Looking Local we are able to provide DiTV and mobile users with access to this vital, up to the minute information on a local and national basis. Looking Local is working with the School of Everything to promote adult learning opportunities on a national scale via DiTV and mobile, following their portal build to pull together local listings.
Housing 21 is a leading provider of retirement housing, care and support services for older people. Their mission is to improve older people's lives by promoting independence and choice, Housing 21 provide access to their services via DiTV in a number of their regions.
Patient UK provide non-medical people in the UK with good quality information about health and disease. A subset of this information will soon be available for DiTV and mobile users on the Looking Local portal.

With over 10 years of accumulated experience, Intouch with health's mission is to assist healthcare organisations in harnessing innovation, increasing their productivity, and improving the quality of services they deliver.
Age Concern's mission is to promote the well-being of all older people and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Now joined with Help the Aged, Looking Local is undertaking research in monitoring how the switchover is affecting older people and how government can best provide services via DiTV to this group.
Digital UK is the not-for-profit company responsible for leading the UK's switchover from analogue to digital TV.Looking Local works with Digital UK to ensure that government services are promoted as part of switchover.

Looking Local has worked with the NHS Institute on widening access to health information to both patients and NHS employees.
Digital Outreach: Digital Outreach believes that all people should have access to technologies that will have a positive impact on their lives. Focusing in particular on assisting older and disabled people in the UK to benefit from new technologies in their homes and lives. Looking Local is a partner in their current major programme of work; Digital Switchover Community Outreach Programme.
DisabledGo provides detailed access guides to a range of different venues like cinemas, hotels, restaurants, council offices, parks, tourist attractions etc. The aim of the partnership is to extend access to their information that allows disabled visitors to decide whether a venue is right for their requirements and plan ahead.
