You can help to look after your health this Easter by following a few simple steps:

- Note that your GP surgery may be closed for four days over Easter including Friday 6 April and Monday 9 April 2012. GP surgeries will open again on Tuesday 10 April 2012.

- Order and collect your repeat prescription(s) before the Easter holidays, ensuring you pick them up in time. Remember, check your existing supplies and only order what you need to make sure you don't run out over the holidays.

- Restock your medicine cabinet with some over-the-counter remedies that can be used to treat common illnesses.
