GHA warns tenants over bogus callers
Glasgow Housing Association is warning tenants to be on their guard for bogus callers who are targeting homes claiming they want to measure up for new kitchens, bathrooms or doors.
The bogus workmen say they work for GHA and have fake GHA identification badges. Once inside a home, they ask to see upstairs and also ask questions about the access to the property from the back garden.
It is believed tenants have been targeted in Knightswood, Yoker and Blairdardie in the west, Germiston in the north, Blackhill and Provanmill in the east and Castlemilk in the south.
