People Participation
What?
Quite simply, People Participation is about helping our service users and their carers to have a say in how we run the Trust. But more than that, it is also about working together so that we can offer a better service for all.
Why?
In November 2007, our Trust became a Foundation Trust. This is important because it means we need to be accountable to the people we work with, particularly service users, their carers and our local communities. As well as helping to improve services, people who have worked with us have told us that the experience of getting involved can also form a valuable part of their recovery.
