Celebrating Families

More than 100 families from across Haringey and Islington were joined by their local MP last week to celebrate a fun Family Day. The Family Fun Day was organised by support service providers Islington Families and HARTS for Families, both part of EPIC Trust.

Local service users were invited to take part in an array of fun activities. These included Tai Chi sessions, Indian head massages, colourful face paintings, Mr Marvell‘s snow machine and football practice with the Arsenal FC Community Team. Parents could also pick up useful information and tips on healthy eating and how to stop smoking. The afternoon event at the Ambler Children’s Centre was rounded off with healthy food and refreshments, prepared by the Manor Gardens Community Centre.
