Fundraiser for East Anglian Air Ambulance

The 35 Margaret Crescent sheltered scheme residents recently organised a fundraising afternoon tea event in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance and raised a total of £523.13.

Around 50 people from the nearby community attended the successful event, which was officially opened by the Mayor of Thorpe St Andrew, Russell James. To raise money the residents organised a variety of delicious cakes, scones and homemade jams, which the guests could enjoy together with a cup of tea or coffee. There was also a big raffle, with many exciting prizes donated by local shops.
