Care & carers

A Carers sub group was formed in June 2010 as part of the Community Health Partnership (CHP) Forum, to ensure that carers from across East Ayrshire have access to decision making and service developments.

The group aims to:

- provide expert advice to decision makers via the CHP

- communicate and engage with carers in East Ayrshire, the wider community and other partners

- support and empower carers via training and information sharing

- support the implementation of East Ayrshire's Carers Action Plan
