Former Olympian visits AAA

Kilmarnock’s Ayrshire Athletics Arena played host to former Olympian and sport specialist Anthony Davis recently when he dropped by to meet the Kilmarnock Harriers and representatives from East Ayrshire Council.

Anthony, a proud Jamaican, is currently taking time out from his role as Director of Sport at the Jamaican University of Technology to study for his PhD in ‘Legacy for countries hosting Major International Games’ at the University of Glasgow.

He has a wealth of experience across athletics and the education sector – including serving as Competition Director at IAAF Championships, Jamaican Chef de Mission for the World
